FireRef (Write note) GC1WKD6 - Shady Rob's Puzzle Cache #18 (2/1) by Shady Rob
Today I was out on a cache run with VanillaThunda9. We did a bunch of caches in the Waterford area. This one was actually on our way out to start the cache run. Since I had just lent an old Explorist GPS to him to use for a while, he noticed there was a cache right at the place where we happened to be turning. We stopped, he hopped out, and used it to find this cache very quickly. Thanks for putting these out!

Today I was out on a cache run with VanillaThunda9. We did a bunch of caches in the Waterford area. When we drove into the parking lot for this campground, there was a man in the back of a pickup truck sawing away at a log, making a large bear sculpture. There were two teenage boys watching the sawing. We headed past and went to get the cache. The lid to this is completely smashed - the edge of it is separated from the center, so it is completely un-water-tight. I dumped some water out of the bottom of the container - the logbook is soaked, and many of the contents are slimy. You may want to replace this container, logbook, and contents. Thanks for putting it out - I didn't know this campground was here!

Today I was out on a cache run with VanillaThunda9. We did a bunch of caches in the Waterford area. This was a pretty quick find, once we got into the right area. Thanks for putting this out - this is one of the first caches that VT9 did in a woodsey area.

FireRef (Found it) GC25N69 - Old Stomping Ground (3/3) by thanatos01
Today I was out on a cache run with VanillaThunda9. We did a bunch of caches in the Waterford area. This one took a little while, probably because when I went into the woods, I thought that the container was a large one. We found it after about 10 minutes and about 20 pokes from the trees around the area of the cache. Thanks for bringing us back here and showing this area.

Today I was out on a cache run with VanillaThunda9. We did a bunch of caches in the Waterford area. When we went after this one, we went into the woods, and we ended up going the wrong way at first. We spotted it quickly, and it is in good shape. Thanks for bringing us here, and showing us this area!

FireRef (Found it) GC1X3P6 - Leapin' Lizards (1.5/2) by mkgolf
Today I was out on a cache run with VanillaThunda9. We did a bunch of caches in the Waterford area. We actually came to find the other lizard one first, but noticed this one was here, so we went after this one first. After crashing through the rather thick, painful bushes for a while, I spotted it from a much less than pokey area than we originally thought it was in. After dissecting the cache, we signed the log, and moved on. Thanks for putting this out. On a side note, one of my former students, when the "found it" log showed up on facebook after posting the field note, replied with "Leapin' Lizards, Batman!"

FireRef (Found it) GC2669G - Beyond the Lizard (1.5/2) by GEOCATZ!
Today I was out on a cache run with VanillaThunda9. We did a bunch of caches in the Waterford area. This one involved a lot more walking through high weeds than I expected when I started out. We took a pretty rough way in, between the knee-high vegitation, and the large sharp plants that we pushed our way through. As usual, we found a much quicker, easier way out of the woods than we had when we went in. Once we got into the area, VT9's gps was a little off - I remember it being a little finicky in tree cover, but found hundreds of caches with it, so I guess I can excuse it. We found it, signed the log, and found a much easier way out of the woods. Thanks for putting this out and bringing us back here.

FireRef (Found it) GC1T4GE - How'd I get here (1.5/1.5) by grammyannie
Today I was out on a cache run with VanillaThunda9. We did a bunch of caches in the Waterford area. This was another of the grammyannie caches that is still out there, and I hope remain for a long time to come. She contributed a lot to caching in this area. Thanks for bringing us here by putting this out! It was a quick find for VT9, and we signed the log and moved on. TFTC!

Today I was out on a cache run with VanillaThunda9. We did a bunch of caches in the Waterford area. Wow - this was a little one. It took probably 10 minutes of hunting, and then I spotted it in its hiding place. Thanks for putting this out and bringing us here.

FireRef (Found it) GC26F11 - Under the Big Trees (1.5/3) by GEOCATZ!
Today I was out on a cache run with VanillaThunda9. We did a bunch of caches in the Waterford area. We decided after doing the nearby one, we would go further into the woods and find this one. It was the longest hike we did today. At least, for the most part, this one did the least damage to our legs. We entered the final area of the woods from different directions, as my old GPS that he was using had him going somewhere else, and then we finally met up. My GPS actually took me past the final location where we found it, so we ended up at the same place finally. Thanks for bringing us here by putting this out!

FireRef (Found it) GCX1J3 - Hare and Beyond (1.5/1.5) by pokespies
Today I was out on a cache run with VanillaThunda9. We did a bunch of caches in the Waterford area. We decided to do some caches that didn't involve fighting our way through the woods for a while, so we headed into Waterford to do this one. We found the first stage, figured out the coordinates, and them moved on to part two. We started in the wrong area for part two, and didn't really understand the clue, but found the cache pretty quickly eventually. The container and contents are in great shape. Thanks for bringing us here and showing us these two areas. This, I believe, was VT9's first multi-cache.

FireRef (Found it) GC29BA8 - SSssshh, Don't tell Vinarian I hid this (1.5/1.5) by emtfire10
Today I was out on a cache run with VanillaThunda9. We did a bunch of caches in the Waterford area. This was a quick find once we got to the right spot. I guess we found the replacement container, since the first log says the original cache was lost by the FTF people, and so we were FTF on the new container maybe? Just kidding. I did sign it as second to find lol. We could see why this bridge was closed down, with the plywood allowing us to actually walk into it when we got close! Thanks for bringing us here and showing this area, and we won't tell him about the cache!

FireRef (Write note) GC13E71 - Trading Post (3/1.5) by Horsnaround
Today I was out on a cache run with VanillaThunda9. We did a bunch of caches in the Waterford area. I had found this one before, hence me writing a note rather than a found-it log. I wanted to show VT9 a really creative cache. He found it after about 2-3 minutes of searching, when it took me 2-3 trips out here to find it. The manager saw us right away, and when I explained why I was there, she said VT9 could have a free root beer if he could find it with no help - and he did! Congrats! Thanks for bringing us here by putting this out.

Today I was out on a cache run with VanillaThunda9. We did a bunch of caches in the Waterford area. This was a quick find once we got to the right area. I actually drove by it the first time, had to turn around, and came back to find it in a few minutes. It wasn't in the first place we thought it was. Thanks for bringing us here by putting this out!

FireRef (Found it) GC1WV0A - Over The Rainbow (1.5/1.5) by thanatos01
Today I was out on a cache run with VanillaThunda9. We did a bunch of caches in the Waterford area. This was actually near where we turned around to go back for "Over the Rainbow", and so after finding that one, we came back and found this one. VT9 actually found this one. Thanks for bringing us here, and showing us this area!

FireRef (Found it) GC26TW0 - Bagdad Cache (1.5/1) by GEOCATZ!
Today I was out on a cache run with VanillaThunda9. We did a bunch of caches in the Waterford area. This was a quick stop, but we didn't realize how cool of a cache it was. I was going to tell VT9 about this kind of hide before, but never did - he managed to come up with the find very quickly, and took pictures of it once we finished signing the log. Thanks for bringing us here by putting this out - very cool container!

FireRef (Found it) GC1VQFA - It's Complex (1.5/1.5) by mkgolf
Today I was out on a cache run with VanillaThunda9. We did a bunch of caches in the Waterford area. We looked for a few minutes here, checking a bunch of different places, but once we read some of the previous logs, I happened to look in the right place. I didn't expect to find it where I did. Thanks for putting this out, and bringing us here!

FireRef (Found it) GC1T4FX - AWESOME (2/2) by grammyannie
Today I was out on a cache run with VanillaThunda9. We did a bunch of caches in the Waterford area. We actually went to the wrong place to start with, and spent about 10 minutes hunting around, until we went to the obvious place and found it right away. Thanks for bringing us here, and putting this out. I'm glad a lot of these caches are still out here!

Today I was out on a cache run with VanillaThunda9. We did a bunch of caches in the Waterford area. I noticed this as we were driving by looking for parking, and it stood out as a great place for a cache. I was right! VT9 dug it out, we got the log signed, and headed out on our way. I almost fell jumping back across the ditch - lol. Thanks for putting this out and bringing us here!

FireRef (Found it) GC1XYZK - My Pad (1/2) by Articat
Today I was out on a cache run with VanillaThunda9. We did a bunch of caches in the Waterford area. I found the original Our Pad cache, and was happy to see the container was still here and in basically the same location. Thanks for bringing us here by putting it out! This is my last find for the day, and happens to be #1949. I guess I'll get 1950 tomorrow, and maybe 2000 by the end of the weekend!

Today I was out on a cache run with VanillaThunda9. We did a bunch of caches in the Waterford area. We looked for this one until I realized it was disabled, so we stopped after a minute or two. I found it a long time ago, but couldn't remember what it was or looked like, so I can't confirm whether it is there or not, because we didn't find it but I wasn't sure what we were looking for.
