This was 1/34 caches I did on a run down to Jefferson County to do some of the AGT Caches. I got about 11 of them done and finished out one more county. I'm hoping to finish the rest over the next couple of weeks.
This was supposed to be a quick stop on my way out - I figured it was a cemetery cache, so it couldn't take that long. Ended up on a dead end road, and found it after a few minutes, but seemed to take longer than I thought it would. Thanks for bringing me here - the statue in the entrance is really neat!

Another nice easy cache on my way... I always liked these containers. By this time, my feet were rather wet, because it was raining off and on, and the grass was soaked. This wasn't as bad as some of the later ones. Thanks for bringing me here and putting this out!

This was 3/34 caches I did on a run down to Jefferson County to do some of the AGT Caches. I got about 11 of them done and finished out one more county. I'm hoping to finish the rest over the next couple of weeks.
This was a quick easy find, but there were two problems. First, I parked at the wrong end of the area, and had to walk through the soaking wet grass to get to it, and then I had a heck of a time getting it out of its hiding place - probably took me 5 minutes, and I almost never have any trouble getting caches out of anywhere using nothing other than my hands. Thanks for bringing me here and for putting the cache out!

This was a cool one - reading the hint, I found it right away - probably never would have looked without reading the hint, because I was looking around the nearby tree before reading it. Nice container! Thanks for bringing me here and putting this out - well worth the stop!

This was 5/34 caches I did on a run down to Jefferson County to do some of the AGT Caches. I got about 11 of them done and finished out one more county. I'm hoping to finish the rest over the next couple of weeks.
This one was supposed to be a quick stop - but I went to where the coords were, and read the description, and realized I had to put in other coordinates to find the cache. It would probably be better to post the actual coordinates for the cache to the page, rather than the ones that are posted, because it almost seems like it should be listed as a multi, not as a traditional, based on what I had to do. I wasn't as upset as I could have been, but it takes time on my gps to put in coordinates, and I just wish I would have known that in advance. Thanks for putting this out - got the stamp, and moved on!

This was a quick find with a short walk through some wet grass, and when you consider my shoes were already soaked, it wasn't any kind of big deal. I got the cache quickly, squeezed my name on the log since the book was more than full - last page is completely packed - and then stamped my passport and moved on. Thanks for bringing me here and putting this cache out!

This was a pretty quick find, but almost a disaster. It has been raining most of the day (and it was probably only about 9:30 when I got here), and when I went around the bushes to find this one, I slipped and started down into the creek that was nearby - I only slipped about 6" down, but if I hadn't caught myself, I would have been completely soaked, only a little bit into my day of caching. I almost thought the cache was garbage, because of the way it was packaged, but it was well protected. Thanks for bringing me here and putting this out!

This was a quick find, once I figured out how to get down here. It took a minute to figure out where to look, but once I did, I found it without a problem. Thanks for bringing me down here. The nearby AGT cache comes with a pretty good story, but you'll have to read the log for that one. Nice area, cool lighthouse! Thanks for bringing me here and putting this one out!

Wow - this was one of the dumber moves of my life. Or at least of my geocaching career. I parked where it looked like the trail went back toward the cache, and changed from road (where I parked) to kind of a grassy 4x4 trail. I then started walking back toward the cache in mostly waist-deep grass. This wouldn't have been any kind of problem normally, but it had rained earlier, and the grass was soaked, and within a few minutes (and well before I got to the cache), I was soaked from the waist down also. I kind of gave up on trying to keep dry after a few minutes and just concentrated on getting to the cache. When I got there, it was a quick find, and then when I noticed that it was only a few feet off of a PAVED road (ok, gravel, but no waist-deep grass!), I was rather upset with myself for not investigating further. Thanks for bringing me here and for putting this cache out - I just need to be smarter when going for them!

This was a quick stop down a short road by a park. Originally I went to the wrong place...looked for a while, realized there wasn't anything there matching the description, and looked another before I found it quickly. I'm not sure what the hint was supposed to help with, unless you're a midget :) - Thanks for bringing me here and for putting the cache out. After a quick pit stop at the nearby temporary restroom facilities, I was on my way again!

Someone said the gps was bouncy in here - I would agree - the coordinates took me 4-5 places before I finally just used the hint and my geosense, and found it pretty quickly. Nice place - I always liked these springs. Never drank the water from them though - guess I prefer mine to have gone through a treatment plant. Thanks for bringing me here and putting the cache out.

I probably wouldn't have gone for this one if I hadn't seen the description and that it is put out by the owner - I always feel wierd going back into people's property like this. Cool "thing" that the cache is on - easy to find. Thanks for putting it out and for bringing me here!

This was 12/34 caches I did on a run down to Jefferson County to do some of the AGT Caches. I got about 11 of them done and finished out one more county. I'm hoping to finish the rest over the next couple of weeks.
This was actually an extra one, as I was going to get the AGT cache in this park, and was trying to figure out if there was a quicker easier way to get to it - well, when I saw what it looked like from this end, I decided that it probably wasn't such a great idea from here, and just decided to go back to the start of the trail. But while I was here, I noticed that there was a cache right by me - so I went and got it. Turns out there were a couple of fishing muggles right by where I was getting the cache, but they didn't seem to pay any attention to me, so I made the quick find and got out on my way to the next one. Thanks for bringing me here and for putting the cache out - very nice view from here!

This was one heck of a climb - I guess because I only had 4 hours sleep, and was still a little sore from reffing 9 basketball games and 2 soccer games over the weekend, my legs weren't all that enthusiastic about the climb. Add to that the wet shoes/feet from walking through grass that was recently rained on, and it was a really fun trip (don't drown in the sarcasm - haha). Found the cache without any problems - someone put a very large feather in this one - I left it in there, but avoided doing anything with it. Thanks for bringing me here and putting the cache out!

This was a nice location in the middle of a little field. If the grass weren't wet, and my feet weren't soaked, it would probably have been a really nice trip to and from the cache. Thanks for bringing me here, and for putting this cache here. I got my stamp, signed the log, and headed out to try to dry my feet out!

This was the 6th and final Forest County AGT cache I needed - It didn't look too bad walking in here, until I ended up reading the part about following the gas pipeline and had to head through the soaked waist-deep grass for a tenth of a mile. Ouch - it was wet - my shorts were soaked this time, as well as everything down through my shoes. There were a couple of little creeks to cross, caused by the rain. Once I was in the woods near the cache, it was much easier terrain (not that the grass was hard - just WET!) Cache was a quick find, got my stamp, signed the log, and headed back through the wet grass, and on to the next cache! Thanks for bringing me here and for putting the cache out!

This was supposed to be a quick stop because it seemed like it was supposed to be right off the road - I didn't read the description as well as I should have, and the GPS took me 50 feet or so away from where I finally found the cache. After reading the hint (after 20 minutes or so of hunting), I found it right away. Thanks for bringing me here - it was interesting reading some of the logs that people had written about the trail. I actually thought, based on the name, that when I found a stick wedged between a double trunk, with a large chunk of wood held up by it, that that was what I was looking for.

Quick find - probably could have parked closer. This was one of the only AGT caches I have done which were this easy. Thanks for bringing me here - there don't seem to be as many of these theaters working anymore, as people can watch movies from their home. Thanks for the cache!

This was a reasonably quick find, after I got there. I'm not sure about the 1.5 star terrain rating - I would go 2.5 or so - it was not just a little hike or a little brush - it seemed like it was a pretty rough hike to the cache from the road. I didn't find any kind of trail when I was in there to find an easier way out, so I don't think I went in the wrong way. Thanks for bringing me here and putting this cache out.

This was a quick find in a small town. Thanks for bringing me here - this was after I stopped and used a bathroom, and gave my feet and shoes a little time to dry at a local state park. Thanks for bringing me here. I had to laugh as I was driving away from this one, because I drove by a basketball court and saw kids that reminded me of inner city skaters - guess they're the same city or rural - haha. Thanks for the cache!

Thanks for bringing me here - it was a quick find - like many of them in this area - I like these kind of hides when I am trying to bolster my numbers. I actually saw this one when I was driving up to it before I even got out of the car. Thanks for bringing me here - I always wondered what these stores are similar to in my area. Thanks for the cache!

This was a little awkward because there was a female muggle sitting under the nearby picnic shelter - I walked over, looking as if I was searching for something, and found it without too much trouble. Logged the find, and then headed over to find the second one in the park. I realized that there was parking much closer, so I headed back to my car to drive down there. When I got there, there were construction workers right around ground zero, so I didn't even bother to hunt for it. Thanks for bringing me here and for putting the cache out!

Just as I was figuring out where to go next, a carload of people from the local clinic pulled in behind me - appeared to be a bunch of the workers coming back from lunch. This one was cool - I haven't seen one of these in a long time, and certainly not one of this type since its not American. It was funny going in there - I spent about a minute, knowing what I was looking for but having to find the hiding place. Got it out, returned to my car to sign it, and for the first time, had trouble getting the log out of the container. I had to use tweezers. Got the log signed, returned it to the container, and then placed it back where it came from. Thanks for bringing me here - cool place to put a cache!

This was supposed to be a quick and easy one, based on what information I had. The terrain wasn't supposed to be too bad. I guess between having soaked shoes and feet, and having to bushwack a little, it wasn't the most fun cache I've done. I also almost clunked my head coming away from it. Nice, well sealed container. It was pretty much empty however - might need some restocking, and I didn't have anything with me to help out. Thanks for bringing me here!

Thanks for bringing me here - I started on the wrong level, and had to move my car to a better location. Found stage one with no trouble, but had a little trouble with stage two. The reason was it was just a little too much wandering and a little too little checking the gps. Once found, it was a pretty nice cache. Thanks for bringing me here. Wow... ok, this was responsible for most of the scrapes and scratches on my legs that I ended up with after this cache run. There were thorns EVERYWHERE, and only a short trail to start with - everything else was bushwacking. There were two short powerline cuts, which weren't too bad, but they still had the dang thorns. Thanks for bringing me back here - good location for a cache, and if I had worn jeans instead of shorts, I would probably have been a lot less scratched! One more AGT cache!

Thanks for bringing me here. This was a cool cache! I wonder why they put the wooden thing on the top, which looks like people could walk around on there, but there is no way to get up there without climbing. No luck there - I wouldn't even try that! I did go up the hill to read the history, and thought the way the name worked out was funny. Then I went after the cache. When I found it, I got my stamp, signed the log, and decided that this was the end of what I was going to work on today. I started to head home after changing my socks and shoes to get my feet to start drying out after this very wet day of caching. Thanks for bringing me here and for putting the cache out!
