FireRef (Found it) GC1TW3R - Nighttime In The Gorge (Night Cache) (2/2.5) by bfortney
This was one of several caches we did with Dr. Insanity and BVFDJR on a short run to pick up some night caches and a few others in the area. This was Dr. Insanity's second time caching with us, but the first time he is signing logs.
He did several night caches on the other trip, but was more along for the ride than anything else. We came down to check this one out because it was supposed to be a decent length one. I did several others on the trail close to this one before, but didn't realize this until I loaded up my GPS for the trip.
We headed out, and made our way through the woods following markers. No problem getting there, no problem finding the cache...well, maybe... BVFDJR said he couldn't believe how obvious it was, and ... well, I won't go into any more details, but he was actually surprised by what he found. Cool container - I like the way this one was put together. Thanks for bringing us here and for making this night cache - the longer ones we can find, the better!

We came here from the other nearby night cache, and had no problems getting to or finding this one. BVFDJR and I found it before Dr. Insanity - it was kind of nice to be on the giving end of the "did you find it yet?" game, because usually I am the one hunting while some of the people I'm with find it, sign the log, return it, and then tell me they already found it, instead of working with me to get it! Oh well - its always a good time. Thanks for putting this one out and bringing us here!

This was one of several caches we did with Dr. Insanity and BVFDJR on a short run to pick up some night caches and a few others in the area. This was Dr. Insanity's second time caching with us, but the first time he is signing logs.
Last one for the night - we found this one before we decided we were too tired to keep going, and had actually made plans to go caching the next day anyway, so we found this one (Dr. Insanity's first nano), signed the log, and headed home from here. Thanks for bringing us here.
Also, on a side note, BVFDJR learned it isn't the greatest idea to do a u-turn in the middle of a road unless you can see clearly in both directions - we started the turn, and were halfway across the road when someone came up over the nearby hill - no clue how we didn't see the headlights - it wasn't close to an accident, but BVFDJR got a nice lesson in his learners permit days on what works and what doesn't - haha.

FireRef (Found it) GC1FYDG - A small place to rest (2.5/2) by Firegirl69
This was one of several caches that BVFDJR, his girlfriend, Dr. Insanity (new cacher), and myself found on a short cache run. Thanks for putting them out!
This took a little longer than we thought, and was our first stop of the day. Dr. Insanity spotted it, but that was after some climbing, and wandering through the likely area the cache could be in. Thanks for bringing us here.

FireRef (Write note) GCPDJG - Turnpike Challenge (2.5/2) by Schrecky
This was one of several caches that BVFDJR, his girlfriend, Dr. Insanity (new cacher), and myself found on a short cache run. Thanks for putting them out!
I had been here before, and found this to be one of the best caches I have ever found in terms of creativity. It took me a while to find it the first time. I brought the kids with me to show them a creative cache hide. It only took BVFDJR a few minutes to figure out what was out of place, and get to the cache. Thanks for putting this out - made for a really cool place to stop again!

FireRef (Found it) GC1RWP5 - Along the trail (1.5/1.5) by Schrecky
This was one of several caches that BVFDJR, his girlfriend, Dr. Insanity (new cacher), and myself found on a short cache run. Thanks for putting them out!
This was interesting, because we had problems finding the trail to get into this area. We drove around the entire outside of it before we decided to park somewhere and just bushwack our way into the area. We did this without too much trouble, and then managed to find the cache without too much trouble either. Some of us ended up following the path out, while BVFDJR met us with the car at the end of the trail - he was more than willing to bushwack his way back to the car. I referee on the soccer fields near here several times a year. Thanks for bringing us here!

I had solved the puzzle before for this one, and had been in the area searching for the final when it apparently wasn't there. While trying to follow the clues for the Mead Park Tour, we ended up in this area because we couldn't find stage three of that one, and I recognized the area from searching before. BVFDJR made the find quickly, and we signed the log. Originally I thought it was from the other cache, until I read the descriptions of the container, because it definitely needs replaced. Thanks for bringing us here!

This was one of several caches that BVFDJR, his girlfriend, Dr. Insanity (new cacher), and myself found on a short cache run. Thanks for putting them out!
This couldn't have been much easier. I was reading the description as BVFDJR managed to walk up to it and find the log without any problems. I was mid sentence when he handed it to me - haha. Thanks for bringing us here, and showing us a cache which can't be much more out in the open obvious.

FireRef (Found it) GCNRNH - Hare Creek (1.5/2) by Schrecky
This was one of several caches that BVFDJR, his girlfriend, Dr. Insanity (new cacher), and myself found on a short cache run. Thanks for putting them out!
Wow... this was one of those caches where it says "stay on the trail" and you were supposed to do so. We didn't do a very good job of this. We walked in a 10th of a mile or so, and realized the cache was off to the right. We thought about it for a minute or so, because it seemed like there was a trail going straight and one going right. Well, the one going right ends in a swamp, which we ended up going through for the next 20 minutes or so. This was interesting - BVFDJR and I had done a cache near Cleveland which required wandering through large grass...oh wait, we weren't required to go that way, we just did. Rule #1 of caching with BVFDJR is don't follow him - he always picks the hardest route possible! We came out of the swamp and found a small trail, and managed to find the cache a minute or two later. Once we found it, it was a quick and easy walk out of the woods, with soaked shoes and feet, and back to the entrance. We stopped on the way to check out the rusting machine near the entrance which must have been there for when the place was a dump. Thanks for bringing us to this area - we left with a good story!

This was one of several caches that BVFDJR, his girlfriend, Dr. Insanity (new cacher), and myself found on a short cache run. Thanks for putting them out!
We decided to stop and get something to eat at a nearby eating establishment after doing Hare Creek - as soon as we were done, we decided to pick up 2-3 more caches and then head home. This one, I had done before, so I am just logging that Dr. Insanity and BVFDJR found it. Quick and easy, after a little bit of hunting around in the trees that had fallen in the area. Thanks for bringing us here.

FireRef (Found it) GC1ARAJ - WELL Known (1.5/1.5) by hereford
This was one of several caches that BVFDJR, his girlfriend, Dr. Insanity (new cacher), and myself found on a short cache run. Thanks for putting them out!
This was the last one of the day for us - we spent a short time walking up the trail, finding the cache, and then heading back to the car to head home. After a few hours of caching, including navigating the swamp at Hare Creek, we decided we were just too tired to keep going. We did spot one deer jaw on the trail, which we thought was pretty cool (except for BVFDJR's girlfriend...haha). Thanks for bringing us here - looks like it will be a pretty nice trail in the future.
